Studies for the Historic Centre of Naples - 1975

Since 1970 I have been fond of historical centres of Euromediterranean Cities, especially of that masterpiece – mixture of human capital, art, history, architecture and archaeology – which is the Historical centre of Naples, and for this reason inscribed in the list of the Human Universal Capital of Unesco. In the last 40 years I have strained every nerve to promote, valorize, preserve and protect these unique resources. Leading the Fondazione Mediterraneo, together with Caterina Arcidiacono, we have carried out a lot of activities and among them I mention “The Charm of the Old City” , with studies about historical centres of Naples, Florence and Berlin.
